Together, the Buckner's live a life that testifies to the truth of Gods word as they humbly follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in all they do.

Mr. and Mrs. Buckner have been serving the Hyde Park area of Los Angeles for over 13 years together. In 2001 they opened their first Child Care facility, meeting the need for quality care and education within the community. Today the Buckner's own and operate three pre-schools (Buckner Educational Christian Academy), River of Life Ministry where they're spreading the Gospel of Christ and building Disciples: and Olive Branch Outreach, responding to the needs of individuals with developmental challenges.
Pastor Rodney Buckner was called to minister in 2012. His personal testimony speaks to this generation in a timely manner. He has a gift to share Gods word in a refreshingly genuine way, that all can understand it and follow it's principals: faith, holiness, prosperity, and most of all... Love!

"And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. River of Life Ministry is a church that is dedicated to the fundamental principles and teachings of the Bible. Our mission is to teach the uncompromising Word of God and reach out to those who are hungry, sick naked, imprisoned, and meet their needs. We are dedicated to the defense of the Gospel; compelling, convicting, and encouraging souls to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior so they can enter into the Kingdom of God; receiving the inheritance promised in the Word of God.
Our church is designed to help transform lives. We enable every individual to reach their God given purpose through biblical ministry, and we seek to encourage, empower, and equip individuals with tools for discipleship. As the Holy Spirit guides us, we proudly serve the community to reach the world for Jesus Christ. With love and fellowship, we always allow God to have His way.
